Hey guys,
So for Christmas I asked for the Urban Decay Naked On The Run palette off my mum and step dad. I have an issue when it comes to new or limited edition things that come out. If I see someone with it I NEED it! Or so I like to tell myself!
The packaging I have a love hate relationship with. It's rose gold plastic with what I think looks like camouflage print? In some lights it looks green and I don't like that. But I love it when it looks pink and red!
The mirror is huge as are most urban decay mirrors. Think Vice palette but smaller! The price is £37 like most of their palettes.
The reason I wanted to get the palette was because it came with the urban decay Perversion mascara, (which I haven't tried yet as I have too many open!) A 24/7 glide on eyeliner pencil in Stag, which is a basic dark brown shade. Its very creamy. So far I like it.
And then it comes with a Naked lip gloss in the shade Sesso? Strange name... but it's a very natural browny pink shade. It has fine gold glitter in and it kind of look like your natural lip colour when on. I've worn it twice and it kind of stung my lips in a plumping way so I'm not sure if I love it yet!
So this palette claims that it has 'Six never before seen shades of eye shadow'. I always like getting Urban Decay palettes that have different eye shadows in them, as it gets a bit repetitive otherwise.
The "sixth" eye shadow is also the highlight so it's bigger than the rest but I don't really count it as an eye shadow as its next to the blusher and bronzer in the palette. I actually thought that was a bit of a piss take to try and claim it to be the "sixth" 'never before seen shade of eye shadow'... but never mind. So For arguments sake lets say that there are only 5 eye shadows! There are 2 Matte shades and 3 Metallic.
The shades are Dive- A metallic rose gold shimmer (My Fave), Fix- soft matte brown/taupe, Resist- A metallic taupe shimmer, Dare - A medium brown matte and Stun - A bronze gold shimmer (2nd Fave). They're all extremely buttery soft and all blend well with great pigmentation.
Next in the palette there is a Bronzer which is a decent size and a very light shade. It definitely gives a more natural glow than a hard contour!
The blush on the other hand is extremely pigmented and its almost like a very Barbie pink. I find it to be quite chalky and I didn't think it blended well but that was just my first impression.
I found that the highlight shade 5050, didn't have much colour pay off at all. I couldn't really tell if I'd put any on.. So that was a bit of a flop!
So basically this palette has things I essentially hate and love, so it's really hit and miss. I'm obviously glad I have it as a makeup hoarder! But I'm not sure I'd buy it, if it wasn't a present!
If you did want to buy it then here is the link! Naked On The Run.
Any ideas for things you'd like me to do then comment below.
Hope you enjoyed!

Maybelline Colour Tattoo 24HR Review.
Hello there my lovelys!
Well i know i haven't posted daily yet but i said i would try! ;)
So today i wanted to do a sort of review slash my daily eye look...
I bought the Maybelline Colour Tattoo in Pink Gold about 6 months ago... maybe even longer than that and I've used it a few times but just didn't really know what to wear it with or how to wear it as most of my eye looks tend to be more neutral browns than pinks. That was until the Naked 3 came out and changed the game for me!
I wear this colour tattoo as an eyeshadow base or primer when I'm using the Naked 3 palette as it matches a few of the shades perfectly and it really helps the shadows last longer and stand out more.
The base is a creamy consistency when you apply it and it has quite good pigmentation for such a light shade. It dry's in about ten seconds and when it does it doesn't budge which is awesome!!
The lasting power i would say is a good 10 hours maybe longer but i don't tend to wear my makeup longer than that. I just know that when i go to take my makeup off it's still there. It doesn't go patchy on me and it just looks lovely on the eyes. My eyes are brown so when i use it the gold flex bring out the gold tones in my eyes which i love! I would even wear this on it's own without the naked 3 on top and just blend a warm brown into the crease to make it warmer.
The Colour Tattoo's are very affordable and wont break the bank! They're about £4.99 in most places and I think they're comparable to the MAC Paint Pots but no where near the steep price tag!
As it's spring I've decided to ditch the thick winged liner and I've just stuck to very fresh eye looks that make my eyes appear bigger and brighter. If i do wear eye liner i only line my water line and it's usually in brown as it looks softer and not so harsh or I'll smoke out brown liner on my lash line for a night look.
The Naked 3 compliments this base so much that when you use any of the darker shades in the crease for some depth, it just looks really put together and like you tried hard when actually it took about a minute or two! Don't worry if you can't afford the Naked 3 tho! You don't need high end products to get the same effect. You can totally re create this with either the colour tattoo and any brown eyeshadow or you can mix your eye shadows to make a rose gold by using a pink and a gold together with a light brown.
This simple eye look also makes your lashes stand out a lot as you're eyes look more awake and the attention is being brought to them.
For a complete makeup look i use Rockateur boxed blush by benefit to carry on the rose gold theme and either a nude gloss or a colour close to my natural lip colour.
Spring makeup is all about looking fresh and natural and i think the over done looks are just best saved for clubbing or darker seasons.
I hope you guys enjoyed!

Urban Decay Naked 3!!!
Hey guys!
So I finally managed to get my hands on Urban Decays Naked 3 palette.
I have been wanting this for months and months and its either always been sold out or i didn't have the money at the time... But now i own one of these bad boys and let me tell you it didn't take me long at all to take it out of the box and stare at it and touch it!
I already love this palette so so so so much! The shades compliment my eyes and skin tone so well and i really do think that this would make anyones skin tone look good. I have a few friends who didn't want to try it because it's 'pink'. Which i get, because no one wants to look like they've been punched in the face or are suffering from a nasty infection. However, i can guarantee that it wont!
The shades that are pink are either slightly muted baby pinks, rose golds and dusky pinks. Limit, Darkside and Nooner are my favourite shades as they blend out so lovely and make a gorgeous smokey effect. I also love Buzz, Strange and Blackheart.
All 12 of these shades are completely new and never seen before by Urban Decay which made me want the palette even more. They're all equally gorgeous and have their individual greatness about them. The shades from the lightest to the darkest are : Strange, Dust, Burnout, Limit, Buzz, Trick, Nooner, Liar, Factory, Mugshot, Darkside and Blackheart.
There are 3 matt shades and the others have shimmer or glitter in them. There is one shade however that i am really disappointed with as it looks gorgeous in its pan and that is Dust. It literally is what it says it is. It has unbelievable fall out and not much pigment. I did hear that if you scratched the top coat off that it's easier to work with so i will try that. The palette also comes with it's signature shadow and blending brush and a pack of primer potion samples.
Overall I love this palette and i know it's going to be a long time favourite for me.
